Check out the song "I Dreamed I Was A Lawyer", on the site Americans for Legal Reform. I wholeheartedly agree with the quote on the page, "If I had one life to give for my country, it would be a lawyer's."

I read someplace that in most civilized countries, lawyers make up an average of 40% of the legislators. In the good ole US of A, it's 60%. Lawyers are the most self-serving, pathetically amoral bunch of scum on the planet.
